Two-part, all steel construction D-locknut, locks in any position on the bolt or threaded shaft regardless of clamping force. Can be applied for gaskets installation or similar torque sensitive applications. The design-in patented asymmetric thread clamps D-locknut 360 deg. without damaging bolt threads. No special installation tools needed. Turns free to mount or remove. It is heat resistant and reusable
