Torrance, CA, October 20, 2009 - Seiko Instruments USA Inc. (SIU) Thermal Printer Division, http://www.siiprinters.com, a globally recognized leader in thermal printer technology, and Arrow Electronics, Inc. (NYSE: ARW) a leading global distributor of electronic components and solutions, today announced a new distribution partnership for the Americas.

Under the agreement, Arrow's OEM Computing Solutions group will provide a full range of engineering, integration, and logistics services, and Seiko Instruments will offer its kiosk printers, mobile printers, and thermal printer mechanisms. The agreement will benefit manufacturers and integrators in the kiosk, ATM, medical device, and industrial and test and measurement instrumentation markets.

"Arrow can support the full gamut of customers, from small integrators to multi-national OEMs. This is a great fit for our best-in-class printers, and most importantly, it is a big win for the customer."

The agreement gives Arrow customers access to Seiko Instruments small, rugged, high performance thermal printers, which have been designed and

tested to boost reliability, streamline integration, and improve the user experience. Arrow's OEM Computing Solutions group offers OEMs and integrators the ability to scale their business, speed time-to-market, and reduce operational costs with services and support throughout the product lifecycle. Arrow's capabilities include product design, prototype development, compliance, documentation, manufacturing and integration, logistics, post sales services, and financing. The distributor operates state-of-the-art, value-added and logistics centers in the United States, Mexico, China, and Hungary.
