Seagull Scientific's BarTender label software version 8.01 (Service Release 3) has achieved "SAP Certified Integration" status for some recently-added integration capabilities. The new certification includes:
o Certified for SAP's AII ("Auto ID Infrastructure") interface o Certified for SAP NetWeaver
"Developers and integrators of supply chain management software solutions have driven many of our largest BarTender sales into the enterprise software market," said Jeremy Seigel, CEO of Seagull Scientific. "So, it's an easy decision to keep putting time and money into newer and more powerful integration methods. SAP is obviously a huge player in the ERP space and our new certifications are just another part of our long-standing commitment to leadership in enterprise label printing."
Seagull says that they were the first label software company to become an SAP Software Partner (awarded in 2000). Seagull has for years also claimed to be the only label software company with an SAP-certified direct interface to SAP IDocs. BarTender also supports the export of printer code templates needed for SAPscript-ITF integrations.
Seagull Scientific offers a number of White Papers dedicated to integrating BarTender with SAP. These can be downloaded at http://www.seagullscientific.com/aspx/whitepapers.aspx. A free, full-working Trial Edition of BarTender is also available for download.
