Contract manufacturer, Standby Screw Machine Products Co., switches from five separate operating systems to one total manufacturing ERP solution from IQMS

A screw machine shop for the appliance, automotive, construction, lawn and garden care, marine, motor shaft, outdoor power equipment and multiple other industries, Standby Screw produces a wide range of custom-designed parts using low to high volume turning operations, as well as a complete line of flexible secondary offerings.
When considering a new ERP vendor, Standby Screw desired to consolidate its five individual legacy systems - NCR, gage, statistics, SPC and manufacturing - into one complete software solution. Its individual systems were causing labor intensive data entry, poor costing tracking and difficulty scheduling when it came to Standby Screw's industry-specific operations such as lot splitting and batch processing.
Standby Screw considered a total of eight software vendors before ultimately concluding that IQMS offered the most complete ERP system and was uniquely positioned to solve Standby Screw's disparate systems problem.
