BREWERTON, NY (September, 2008) -Schneider Packaging Equipment, Co., specializing in end-of-line solutions for case packing and palletizing needs, announces it has become a value added reseller for Jervis B. Webb SmartCart® Automatic Guided Cart (AGC(TM)) product line and will display a SmartCart® at Pack Expo 2008, McCormick Place, Chicago, Booth S 1501.
Schneider builds robotic palletizing cells that range in size and scope all the way from compact, "plug and play" portable units to multi-line systems and integrates other components that make a complete end-of-the-line packaging system for cases, bags, bulk and other products.
Automatic guided carts (AGC(TM)) are ideal for moving palletized products from floor storage or palletizers/strechwrappers/conveyors to anywhere within a plant or warehouse as well as delivering empty pallets, slip sheets, etc. to keep a palletizer cell in continuous operation. Schneider has selected to work with Jervis B. Webb Company, a subsidiary of Daifuku Company, Ltd. (Pack Expo Booth E 7564), and leading provider of innovative material handling solutions, to provide SmartCart® AGC(TM)'s as part of a palletizing solution. SmartCart® AGC(TM)'s are guided by magnetic tape, allowing for quick installation or modification of the guidepath. SmartCart®s' load handling frames can be customized to accommodate a variety of products. "Adding the Jervis B. Webb SmartCart® enhances our offering of cost effective, flexible palletizing solutions for our customers," says Terry Zarnowski, director of sales and marketing for Schneider.
