Sartomer to Give Two Presentations at American Coatings Show 2012

EXTON, Pa., April 2, 2012 - Sartomer USA, LLC researchers William Schaeffer and Michael Bailey will give technical presentations at the upcoming American Coatings Show, May 8 to 10 in Indianapolis (www.american-coatings-show.com). Sartomer will also showcase specialty (meth)acrylate monomers and oligomers for low VOC cure-in-place coatings at booth #500 at the Indiana Convention Center.

Schaeffer's presentation, "Durable Multi-Purpose Protective Coatings," will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 8 as part of Session 10 - Protective Coatings II. It will examine the use of acrylate functional monomers and oligomers for radiation-curable coatings, offering improved adhesion and excellent coating performance when exposed to extreme environmental conditions.

Bailey's paper, entitled "The Versatility of Acrylate Modifiers in 2K Amine Cured Epoxy Coatings," presents the effects of structure, molecular weight and functionality of acrylate monomers and oligomer on two-component amine cured epoxy coating performance. The paper will be presented at 2:00 p.m. as part of the product presentation session on Wednesday, May 9.
