Sartomer Announces New Global Leadership Assignments

Sartomer USA, LLC has established two new positions to strengthen the company's leadership in its global markets. Nikola Juhasz has been named senior director, R&D, and Ken Earle has been named global supply chain director. Both report directly to Doug Sharp, Sartomer's global president.

Juhasz is responsible for all global research and development activities. She has held several positions within Arkema and its predecessor companies over 15 years where she acquired the leadership skills and technical knowledge that she brings to her new role. With experience managing diverse projects, Juhasz is ideally suited to identify customers' technical requirements and ensure that Sartomer brings novel solutions to the market.

Juhasz earned her B.S. in Chemical Engineering at Purdue University and holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from MIT.

Earle oversees the integration of Sartomer's global supply chain activities. He is a key leader in Arkema's Ambition Project, a long-term strategy to enhance support for its Industrial Chemicals and Performance Products. He is also a founding member of the Arkema Supply Chain Leadership Team. Earle served for more than 15 years at Altuglas International in plant reliability, production leadership and supply chain management.
Earle graduated from Drexel University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and holds a Certificate in Supply Chain Management from the Penn State Center for Supply Chain Research.

With research and manufacturing facilities in North America, Europe and Asia, this new direction allows Sartomer to cohesively build its global resources for each core market it serves (coatings, graphic arts, adhesives, electronics, chemical intermediates and advanced materials).

"Sartomer's new leaders will enhance our ability to globally provide the solutions our customers need and want in each of our core markets. As we continue to grow and develop our team, we are improving our position to develop, support and extend new technologies for specific applications to our customers," said Sharp.

Globally based in Exton, Pa., Sartomer USA, LLC, is part of Arkema Group. Sartomer is the premier global supplier of specialty chemicals for ultraviolet and electron beam (UV/EB), peroxide, and two-part epoxy/amine systems.
