Sandvik Coromant Appoints New Productivity Center Manager


Fair Lawn, New Jersey, July 8, 2008 - Sandvik Coromant recently promoted Robert Page to the position of Productivity Center Manager for its new facility in Schaumburg, Illinois. Before the appointment, Mr. Page served as the company's Field Training Specialist.

In his new role, Mr. Page will be responsible for organizing and managing all facility resources and activities, including training programs, customer visits, customer component processing and sales and general marketing support. He will also support and interface with the company's training facility and technical center in Fair Lawn, New Jersey.

"Rob has nearly thirty years of experience in the machine tool industry, holding every position from machinist to tooling purchaser to application specialist," remarked Brian Davis, National Applications Manager at Sandvik Coromant. "The leadership and expertise that he has displayed in his 10 years at Sandvik Coromant make him ideally suited for this role."

Prior to joining Sandvik Coromant as a Senior Sales Representative in 1998, Mr. Page was employed at an industrial distributor in Southeast Wisconsin.
