Samtec, Inc., a worldwide leader in the manufacture of electronic interconnects, is proud to announce the addition of SuperSpeed USB 3.0 to its line of High Speed I/O solutions.
In addition to optimized power efficiencies, SuperSpeed USB 3.0 offers significant performance advancements over USB with up to ten times the data transfer rate. And because the system remains cost-efficient and compatible with existing USB-enabled devices, it is the ultimate answer to increasing demands for greater bus bandwidth and higher performance connections in today's consumer market.
Samtec now offers SuperSpeed USB 3.0 certified A-Type and B-Type Receptacles (USB3-A & USB3-B Series) with through-hole terminations. The mating SuperSpeed 3.0 certified Cable Plug (USBC3 Series) is available with an A-Type plug on the first end and a B-Type plug on the second end, in a choice of wire lengths. A micro SuperSpeed USB 3.0 version (UUSB3 Series) is also available.
Samtec's full line of high speed I/O systems includes high speed cable assemblies, standard and increased retention USB products, Mod Jacks, and transceiver interfaces.
Pricing varies by quantity and type specified; at quantities of 5,000 prices start around $.44 per connector.
