No. 2 Handset Maker Offers Red Bend-Enabled(TM) Smartphones, Tablets Worldwide

WALTHAM, Mass. - Red Bend Software, the market leader in Mobile Software Management (MSM) with more than 1 billion Red Bend-Enabled(TM) devices, today announced that Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd., a global leader in semiconductor, telecommunication, digital media and digital convergence technologies, has licensed Red Bend's full suite of MSM solutions, including vRapid Mobile® for software management and firmware over-the-air updating (FOTA) and vDirect Mobile® for device management.

With this milestone, 10 of the world's top handset manufacturers trust Red Bend's MSM solutions to improve the mobile user experience with new features and applications.

The Red Bend-Enabled handsets from Samsung include a range of Android phones as well as Samsung's own platforms. Models include:
o Samsung Infuse 4G sold by AT&T
o Samsung Epic 4G sold by Sprint
o Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy S II models sold by operators in more than 100 countries

Samsung also has deployed Red Bend's software in its popular Galaxy Tab line of tablets.
