PLANO, Texas, May 23 / / -- Safety-Kleen Systems, Inc., today announced the launch of its comprehensive Emergency Response (ER) Service, providing customers with a round-the-clock solution for emergency preparedness.
In response to customer requests, Safety-Kleen has expanded its Total Project Management Program to include emergency response services, according to Eric Zimmer, Safety-Kleen vice president of marketing.
"Total Project Management, and specifically emergency response, is a critical component of our total solution philosophy," Zimmer said. "Many customers, particularly large-quantity generators, are required to have an emergency response contractor to satisfy regulatory requirements. Smaller- quantity generators also need an effective and efficient solution for proper emergency preparedness. Now, Safety-Kleen delivers on both, regardless of generator status."
The Emergency Response Services staff is specifically trained in chemical emergency response, Zimmer said, and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Safety-Kleen customers get a comprehensive solution that helps them operate within regulatory guidelines, while mitigating environmental and safety risks resulting from unplanned chemical events.
Subscribers to Safety-Kleen's ER service receive: o One year of unlimited emergency response calls o On-site emergency management, including detailed, written incident reports o Phone stickers, wallet cards, posters and signs to ensure employee awareness of the service o Safety-Kleen 24-hour emergency response phone number for all federal, state and local contingency plans o Assistance with event-specific regulatory agency reporting and documentation o Access to a national network of professional emergency responders
The Emergency Response service can also be coupled with Safety-Kleen's state of the art Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) management and compliance service, which provides access to MSDS documents for more than five million chemicals in 90 seconds or less.
