Tampa, Florida, December 11, 2007 - Mettler-Toledo Safeline, Inc., the worldwide leader in metal detection and x-ray inspection equipment, will exhibit its state-of-the-art metal detectors and x-ray inspection equipment in booth #1208 at Interphex Puerto Rico to be held in San Juan, Puerto Rico at the San Juan Convention Center February 14 - 15, 2008.
Safeline will have an in-booth promotion during exposition hours and will give away four iPods throughout the show. Visitors may enter a drawing in Safeline's booth #1208; two winners each day will receive an 8GB iPod nano.
Safeline will showcase two metal detectors, including its PowerPhasePRO - a three frequency metal detector with an intuitive, color touch screen interface. It is the most sensitive metal detector available today and detects ferrous, non-ferrous, and stainless steel contaminants up to 40% smaller than any other metal detector.
Safeline's Tablex 2 - the latest metal detector for the pharmaceutical industry with maximum sensitivity, flexibility and stability - will also be featured. The Tablex 2 has a very user-intuitive interface and a highly flexible design. It's very small footprint fits easily into space-restricted areas and the position of the detector head can be easily adjusted to suit any process equipment configuration. The system also lends ultimate mobility and improved stability with robust, low profile castors.
Safeline's booth will also feature a PowerChekPlus x-ray inspection unit which is unmatched in the industry for sensitivity and simplicity. With unique low-energy technology, this inspection system detects and rejects many contaminants in bulk or sealed products such as metal, stone, bone, glass, and dense plastics. The system can also verify fill levels and confirm all components are present.
