Lakeland, Fla.Saddle Creek Logistics Services announced today that the company has named Joe Maggio as vice president, business development.
In his new role, Maggio will help to sustain Saddle Creek's steady growth by developing new customer relationships and expanding existing accounts. He will be based at Saddle Creek's facility in Buena Park, Calif.
Prior to joining Saddle Creek, Maggio served as senior director of business development, North America, for OHL. He also has held management and business development positions with companies such as Kuehne + Nagel Contract Logistics, Inland Star Distribution Centers, and APL.
"Joe's strategic approach to logistics solutions and extensive industry experience will make him a valuable resource for both Saddle Creek and our customers," said Duane Sizemore, Saddle Creek senior vice president, marketing and business development. Maggio holds a B.S. degree in business administration from California State University. He is a member of WERC and CSCMP.
