Saddle Creek Adds Director of Business Development


Lakeland, Fla., Dec. 8, 2011 - Saddle Creek Corp., a nationwide third-party logistics provider, has added a new director of business development on the East Coast: Mike Green.

Based in Greensboro, N.C., Green will oversee the development of new customer relationships and maintain organic growth with existing accounts.

"Mike's extensive experience and in-depth understanding of the industry will make him an excellent resource for our customers and prospects," said Stephen Cook, vice president of marketing and business development at Saddle Creek Corp. "He is well positioned to help develop strategic logistics solutions that increase efficiencies, control costs, and streamline business for our customers."

Green has been actively involved in the logistics industry for more than 15 years. Prior to joining Saddle Creek, he served as senior business development director for Inmar, a provider of promotions management, supply chain and reverse logistics services. He has also held positions with Best Services Group and Sonoco Products.

He holds a B.A. degree from Wake Forest University and an M.B.A. from Rollins College.
