Press release date: December 18, 2007

SYCODE today launched IGES and STEP file import plug-ins for IntelliCAD powered applications.

"IntelliCAD powered applications are helping to fulfill the need of CAD users making the switch to 3D", explains Deelip Menezes, owner of SYCODE. "However, the ability of these applications to exchange data with 3D CAD applications is largely limited. The IGES and STEP neutral file formats are widely used to exchange 3D data between 3D solid modeling systems. We believe that these IGES and STEP file import plug-ins will help create a smoother workflow between IntelliCAD powered applications and other 3D CAD systems."

The IGES and STEP file import plug-ins read 3D solid geometry from IGES and STEP files and creates a 3D wireframe model in the IntelliCAD power application. The plug-ins are priced at 95 EUR each and are available as fully functional 10 day/run trials. The software comes with detailed documentation in the form of a compiled HTML help file which contains a step-by-step tutorial to get the end user started in the shortest possible time.

Detailed information about these plug-ins and other SYCODE products can be found at http://www.sycode.com/products/index.htm
