Press release date: October 15, 2007

Panaji - 15th Oct, 2007 - SYCODE today launched SAT Import for Rhino, an ACIS SAT file import plug-in for Rhinoceros.

"For years Rhino customers have been wishing for ACIS SAT file import capability for Rhino", explains Deelip Menezes, owner of SYCODE. "SAT Import for Rhino is our attempt at granting this wish. This plug-in is capable of reading ACIS SAT files up till version 10 and works with Rhino 4.0 as well as Rhino 3.0. This is in line with our commitment to developing and supporting plug-ins for Rhino 3.0 as long as it is technically possible and feasible."

SAT Import for Rhino is priced at 195 EUR per license. It is available as a fully functional 10 day/run trial. In keeping with our "software made simple" slogan, the product installer automatically registers the plug-ins file in Rhino and loads them when Rhino starts up. SAT Import for Rhino adds new commands to Rhino. It also adds a new submenu to the Rhino menu which houses these commands. The plug-in also comes with detailed documentation in the form of a compiled HTML help file which contains a step-by-step tutorial to get the end user started in the shortest possible time.

Detailed information about SAT Import for Rhino and a trial download can be found at http://www.sycode.com/products/sat_import_rh/index.htm.
