Dell and REALTECH Join Growing Number of Companies to Choose SUSE Linux Enterprise Server to Optimize SAP Solution-Based Environments
MADRID - SUSE today at SAPPHIRE® NOW + SAP® TechEd announced the number of customers and partners that choose SUSE Enterprise Server to run their SAP® applications continues to increase, demonstrating the continued success of SUSE's ongoing partnership with SAP AG (NYSE: SAP). Today, SUSE® Linux Enterprise Server is a preferred platform for a majority of customers and partners running SAP software on Linux, including Dell and REALTECH. Customers select SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications to leverage the optimization, stability and performance of an integrated solution to run critical business workloads more efficiently and cost effectively.
Announced in February 2011, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications has proven it can consistently deliver outstanding uptime and performance. The solution's built-in, high availability components help ensure continuity of service for critical business operations, even under full CPU load and high-memory stress. Additionally, through SAP Solution Manager, customers receive support from SUSE, including up to 18 months of extended time to upgrade services packs so customers can complete platform upgrades when most convenient.
