The Swedish Centre for Maintenance Management, the trade association for reliability and maintenance suppliers in the Nordic countries, every second year grants the prestigious Scandinavian First Maintenance Service Award. This is a Nordic supplier award intended to highlight maintenance efforts resulting in profitability increases on behalf of the customer.
In connection with the trade show Underhall 2008 at the Swedish Exhibition Centre in Gothenburg, SPM Instrument was first runner-up for the 2008 award with its submission on condition based maintenance for windmills, using the online system SPM Windmill Online. The system is developed for the special operating conditions of the windmill industry.
