Minneapolis, Minn. - June 19, 2007 - SICK, one of the world's leading manufacturers of sensors, safety systems and automatic identification products for factory and logistics automation, and OCS Checkweighers, a global leader in providing dynamic weighing technology and checkweighers, today announced an exclusive agreement under which SICK and OCS Checkweighers will partner to deliver integrated dynamic weighing solutions and in-motion scales for the logistics industry, with a focus on parcel companies and postal applications for the North American market.
Under the agreement, SICK will provide sales, marketing, field service, project management, and technical support for the OCS provided dynamic weighing solutions and in-motion scale equipment. Working together, SICK and OCS Checkweighers will be able to deliver integrated dimensioning, weighing and scanning solutions for automated revenue recovery and revenue protection in the parcel/postal industry and other similar industries.
