Press release date: January 12, 2007

SENA, a leading manufacturer of Device Server and Industrial Bluetooth products, announced today that it has been named to the prestigious 2007 M2M Magazine's M2M 100 list of the most important and influential companies offering machine-to-machine (M2M) technology solutions. The M2M 100 list provides a snapshot of the market as it exists today and the companies with the greatest impact on its direction.

More than 300 companies were considered for the 2007 M2M 100 by the magazine's editors and its editorial advisory board. Companies were selected through an exhaustive selection process based on criteria including: strength and number of customer references; strength of product/service portfolio; strength of business model; establishment and active involvement in the M2M market; and growth potential.

SENA was selected for its innovative, cost-effective contributions to wireless device networking products that provides seamless connectivity to today's fastest-growing machine-to-machine applications. SENA has leveraged its Bluetooth-Serial products that eliminates RS-232 serial cables with wireless connectivity with advanced options such as Bluetooth 1.2 Protocol Stack that includes Adaptive Frequency-hopping spread spectrum (AFH), software-free configuration support via an external dip-switch, Pairing button for instant configuration of an automatic connection between two Parani devices, and flexible power options.

SENA's Bluetooth-Serial products enable a serial device to communicate with another serial port adapter or other Bluetooth enabled devices such as mobile phones, handheld computers and laptops. They are suitable for industrial applications that require data logging, wireless sensor control and monitoring in production facilities. Also in medical applications, physicians with hand held devices are able to view and update medical databases and patient's charts instantly reducing redundant paper work, increasing efficiency and lowering hospital costs. Other applications include retail POS, bar code scanners and credit card readers, restaurant order and receipt printers, security systems, gas pumps, and outdoor sign boards.
