Orlando, Florida - SCSI Trade Association (STA), in its effort to promote the understanding and use of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technology, is presenting a tutorial at the Storage Networking World (SNW) Conference, Thursday, April 9, from 11:15am to noon. The SNW conference will be held April 6-9, 2009, at the Rosen Shingle Creek Convention Hotel, 9939 Universal Blvd., Orlando, Florida.

Speaking will be Harry Mason, President of STA and Director of Industry Marketing, Storage Components Group, LSI, and Marty Czekalski, Vice President of STA and Interface and Emerging Architecture Program Manager, Seagate. The tutorial is entitled "SAS and SATA Change the Storage Market Landscape." As part of the SNIA Tutorial Track, the tutorial will be held from 11:15am to noon, on Thursday, April 9, in the Panzacola Ballroom, Salon H-3 on the main level.

The conference is one of the Storage Networking World Conference series co-sponsored by Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA). STA and SNIA have a longstanding working relationship.

The SCSI Trade Association was established in 1995 to provide a focal point for members to communicate the benefits of SCSI to the industry. STA promotes the understanding and use of Serial Attached SCSI (SAS) technology and influences the evolution of SAS standards to meet future industry needs.
