New facility expands SCS worldwide Parylene coating capabilities
November 10, 2011 - (Indianapolis, Indiana) - Specialty Coating Systems is pleased to announce the expansion of its' Parylene coating service operations into the South United States region. Build-out is underway for a new 13,000 square foot facility located in Austin, Texas.
According to Tim Bender, SCS Executive VP, Sales & Marketing, "The new Texas facility allows SCS to provide greater support to meet the regional needs of our ever-expanding customer base." The new coating center will begin full production operations in early 2012.
Austin, Texas, is gaining national recognition as a thriving innovation hub and has attracted over 3,800 companies within the technology sector. "The expansion of our business into Texas reinforces SCS' commitment to our core strategy of delivering local, high quality Parylene coating services," commented Terry Bush, SCS President and CEO.
With the addition of the Texas facility, SCS has 11 Parylene coating facilities around the world. Additional locations include Costa Rica, Czech Republic, Ireland, Japan, Singapore, United Kingdom and the United States (California, Indiana, New Hampshire, Wisconsin).
