SAKOR Technologies, Inc., a recognized leader in the area of test automation and systems integration, will showcase its HybriDyne(TM) Series of hybrid vehicle driveline test systems at booth #6004 at the North American Automotive Testing Expo, slated for October 22-24 in Novi, MI. Combining SAKOR's core capabilities in both combustion engine and electric motor testing, the HybriDyne is a comprehensive test solution for calibrating the performance, efficiency, and durability of all aspects of hybrid drivetrain systems, including electrical assist, diesel electric, and even fully-electric vehicle systems.
The HybriDyne system itself is a true hybrid, seamlessly integrating major components of SAKOR's DynoLAB(TM) PT Engine Test Cell Supervisory System with elements of its DynoLAB(TM) EM Electric Motor Test System. Coupled with one or more of SAKOR's AccuDyne(TM) AC Motoring Dynamometers, the modular HybriDyne is capable of thoroughly testing individual mechanical and/or electrical components, integrated sub-assemblies and complete drive-trains with a single installation.
The HybriDyne system is capable of simultaneously determining the performance and efficiency of each component and sub-system being tested, as well as the entire system as a whole, in real-time. The mechanical control and data acquisition components of the HybriDyne manage and monitor all engine and mechanical system functions, while the electrical subsystem monitors and controls all electrical values from low voltage control as well as high voltage DC and three-phase AC busses. The inherent dynamic profile capabilities of the DynoLAB provide for traditional steady-state testing, as well as complete road load and in-use simulation as customer requirements dictate.
