SAE International AeroTech Congress to Launch in September



WARRENDALE, Pa., July 24, 2007 - SAE International's 2007 AeroTech Congress & Exhibition will take off Sept. 17 and land Sept. 20 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

Northrop Grumman is the host company of this year's event. Tours of Northrop Grumman and Vought will highlight the AeroTech Congress.

"The theme of this year's AeroTech Congress is, 'Working together to shape our future,' and this provides an excellent opportunity for the aerospace community to meet and discuss the challenges we'll all be facing," Scott Klavon, Director of Standards, Professional Development and Aerospace Business, SAE International, said. "AeroTech Congress is an event that is built by aerospace professionals for aerospace professionals. The blend of technical events, learning opportunities and networking functions provides a valuable resource to today's aerospace professional."

The event will feature technical sessions, panel discussions and seminars that cover the broad spectrum of relevant aerospace topics, including avionics, environment, flight sciences, man-machine interface, manufacturing, materials/structures, propulsion, safety, and systems.

In addition, companies from around the world will be showing their latest products and technologies on the show floor.

The agenda also features programs directed toward students and young engineers. A career fair and career center will be offered, along with a special plenary panel discussion titled, "What if We Could...?"
