Wakefield, MA - June 4, 2007 - RuleStream Corporation, leading provider of engineering and design automation solutions to the discrete manufacturing industries, today announced that it has been named to the elite group of Start-IT Magazine's hottest companies of the year. RuleStream was honored for its strong accomplishments in 2006 and its ongoing dedication to providing innovative design automation solutions to the industrial market to improve their product competitiveness.

RuleStream's enterprise-class design automation software accelerates engineer-to-order (ETO) and new product design related business processes by intuitively capturing and reusing product engineering, sales and manufacturing knowledge.

RuleStream's integrated solution will be showcased at PTC/User World Event from June 3-5 in Tampa, FL. RuleStream will exhibit in booth 622, and will be highlighted in a conference session at 12:00 on Tuesday, June 5th.

"The ability of manufacturing companies to significantly improve their product design and engineer-to-order (ETO) processes through the use of RuleStream's technologies has been demonstrated in customer implementations," said Ed Miller, president of CIMdata. "With integrations to major ERP, PLM and CAD systems, including Pro/ENGINEER, RuleStream's enterprise-level solution can be used to extend and complement existing user environments. Their recognition by Start-IT magazine is well deserved."

About RuleStream RuleStream is a software technology company focused on the emerging Engineering Process Management (EPM) market with leading design automation tools. RuleStream's provides manufacturers a leading edge technology platform that captures engineering-related intellectual property in an intuitive fashion to automate complex engineering design, simulation, systems engineering, and manufacturing applications. RuleStream is proven to add value in both engineer-to-order (ETO) and new product development environments.

An extension to existing Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Engineering Resource Planning (ERP) environments, RuleStream expands the value proposition of these solutions by providing a process management approach that enables manufacturing companies to better leverage key senior engineers while dramatically reducing mundane, repetitive tasks and addressing iterative functions with extensive labor dependencies. The result is improved quality at a reduced cost with an order of magnitude improvement in the ability to manage and execute the product life cycle process.

This database consists of design engineering and manufacturing rules, as well as sales, commercial, simulation and other standards. Once captured, these rules can be executed by knowledge workers to more quickly create work products. RuleStream extends the value of established enterprise systems including ERP, PLM, MPM, CAD, and CAE.

RuleStream customers include business leaders like General Electric and The Babcock & Wilcox Company. RuleStream's customers also include innovators like Fresno Valves & Castings, Interior Concepts, Lytron, Robbins & Myers and S.A. Armstrong. For more information visit www.rulestream.com
