Oklahoma City, OK - Ron Schmidt, Director of OEM Sales for Maxcess International, has been elected to President of the Converting Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA). Mr. Schmidt brings over 30 years of experience in the web processing and converting industry, currently serving as the Director of Corporate Development for the companies of Fife, MAGPOWR and Tidland.

Representing Maxcess International, Mr. Schmidt has been a long-time supporter of the CEMA program and the Association of Industrial Metallizers, Coaters and Laminators (AIMCAL). In addition to this new role, he will retain his position as chairman of CEMA's Slitting and Rewinding Seminar and co-chair of AIMCAL's Web Handling Committee.
