Ron Holsey Named to Lead Siemens Global Process Analytics Initiative


TLANTA, Oct. 31, 2005--Ron Holsey, Applied Automation Business Manager for Siemens Energy & Automation, Inc., has been selected to lead the company's PI 2 global growth project.

Based in Houston, Texas, Holsey will lead a team assembled to enhance Siemens worldwide leadership position in process analytic technology, products, and services.

Holsey joined Siemens Energy & Automation in 2003. He will continue to oversee sales, marketing, and customer service for the Applied Automation Business in North and South America.

"Ron brings the right balance of experience and leadership to this important global initiative," said Reiner Pallmann, Vice President of Siemens Process Solutions Division. "We will look to him and his team to develop sales building concepts that will lead to Process Instrumentation growth and profit opportunities."

Holsey holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Distribution from the College of Engineering at Texas A&M University. He has more than 17 years of experience in the process automation industry, including management positions with ABB, Foxboro, Honeywell, and Rockwell.
