Rofin-Baasel has maintained its position as the leading supplier of laser welding systems in the UK, since the introduction of the StarWeld Tool family to the mould and tool market in 1999.
The Rofin philosophy of providing not only a laser but a complete solution now extends to the supply of laser welding wires. To complement the extensive range of high quality welding systems available, Rofin has now sourced a range of fine, clean and straight laser welding wires to suit the needs of UK laser welders.
The range of materials available from Rofin include:-
o Tool Steels - H-13, P-20 o Stainless Steels - 316, 420 o Aluminium alloys - AlSi12 o Titanium - Grade 1, 2 or 5 o Nickel alloys
Using Rofin's global purchasing power, these high quality wires can be supplied to UK customers at competitive prices. Typical diameters are between 0.2 mm and 0.6 mm with the most commonly used diameter being 0.4 mm. Rods are either 333 mm or 457 mm long depending on the material and diameter.
In addition to the range of materials and sizes listed above, other alloys and diameters are available upon request. Orders for these high quality wires will be dispatched and delivered to the customer within 5 working days often, commonly used wires can be shipped from stock.
