Rockwell Automation to Help Manufacturers Uncover How to 'Do More, Go Faster' at RSTechED User Conference


World-renowned futurist Alvin Toffler and manufacturers from a wide range of industries to speak at week-long partner and customer training event

MILWAUKEE, April 7, 2008 - To help customers maximize their automation investments and use manufacturing data to fuel innovation, Rockwell Automation will host its 11th annual RSTechED, an international meeting of end users, system integrators, partners and original equipment manufacturers, June 1 to 6 at the Rosen Shingle Creek hotel in Orlando, Fla.

With a "Do More, Go Faster" theme, RSTechED will provide attendees access to executive speakers, technical sessions, hands-on labs, special interest group discussions, and customer panels. The event will feature manufacturers from consumer packaged goods, automotive, oil and gas, and the life sciences industries.

Best-selling author Alvin Toffler will keynote at the week-long event. Noted futurist and author of six global best sellers, including "Revolutionary Wealth," Toffler is consistently ranked among the world's top advisors to management and governments, including the former Soviet Union's Mikhail Gorbachev, the U.S. Department of Defense, and the Chinese government.

In addition, attendees will hear from more than 20 guest panelists about asset management, plant-floor integration, OEE and measuring process improvements, convergence, and leveraging existing investments.
