AMHERST, NH, October 6, 2010 - Casella USA, the North American subsidiary of Casella Measurement CEL, today announced the appointment of Robert Brauch to the position of Business Unit Manager. He will report directly to Jim James, President & CEO of IDEAL INDUSTRIES, INC., Casella's parent company.
Commenting on the appointment, Mr. James said: "Rob is a key addition to the Casella USA team and brings a solid base of both knowledge and industry contacts. His understanding of the products and competitive landscape support his new role in driving sales growth, product awareness and product positioning to the Casella products line."
In his new role as Business Unit Manager, Mr. Brauch is tasked with the strategic planning and direction of the Casella brand throughout North America, while managing the day-to-day operations of the Casella USA office in Amherst, New Hampshire.
Mr. Brauch comes to Casella USA from PCB Piezotronics Inc. where he was a member of the executive management team, developing and implementing a strategic plan for corporate growth targets as well as a long-term business unit vision for the company. Prior to that, he served as International Sales Manager with Metrosonics and as Manufacturing Manager with MXR Innovations, Inc.
Mr. Brauch holds a BA in Business Management from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
