RoMan Manufacturing Named Michigan 2008 Jeffrey H. Butland SBA Family-Owned Small Business of the Year

Grand Rapids, Michigan - RoMan Manufacturing, Inc. has received the 2008 Jeffrey Butland Michigan Family-Owned Small Business of the
Year Award by the The U.S. Small Business Administration. The award was presented on April 24, 2008 during the fourth annual Michigan
Celebrates Small Business awards dinner in East Lansing. Governor Jennifer Granholm was the keynote speaker at the premier event,
recognizing the impact of small business and its critical importance to the state's economy.

RoMan Manufacturing was founded in 1980 by Mr. Dietrich Roth and Mr. Robert Hofman with a commitment to manufacture AC and DC
power sources to the highest quality standards, using the finest materials available. Today, RoMan remains a family business owned by the
Roth, Hofman, Siehling and DeCorte families, all of Michigan.

"Having worked together in the industry since 1959, our fathers started RoMan as a means of working for themselves. As a family business,
their philosophy was humble . . . grow the pie and expand everyone's piece," said Bob Roth, President.

Over the past 28 years, RoMan has grown the pie to include several divisions including RoMan Engineering Services (RES), Quality Brass
and DAS Industries. With these additions, RoMan remains ahead of the curve, supplying world-class products, unmatched engineering
capabilities and a dedication to quality and environmental management.
