Rittal Plans Day Of Training And Innovation On March 8 At Its Houston, TX, Facility


HOUSTON, TX, February 9, 2006 - Cost savings, plant efficiency, UL 508A requirements, ARC flash protection, design automation and production innovation are some of the topics to be discussed during Rittal Corporation's upcoming Houston Open House and Training Event. Activities are set for March 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Rittal facility located at 13810 Hollister Drive, Houston, TX. There is no cost for the event.

Registration begins at 11 followed by a Texas style barbecue at 11:30. Training sessions include:

· UL 508A and ARC Flash Requirements (1:30) - Discussion will be centered on: the use of the new UL 508A Standard for control panels; and how and why ARC flash accidents occur and what to do to prevent them.

· Energy Savings and Plant Efficiency (2:30) - Participants will learn how to reduce costs and increase efficiency of equipment through proper selection and sizing of climate control systems.

· Cost Reduction Through Electrical CAE Solutions (3:30) - Participants will be shown how to select the correct computer-aided engineering (CAE) software solutions to create crucial diagrams and documentation. The seminar will show participants how to increase efficiency, eliminate costly rework, enhance quality and provide corporate-wide uniformity through standardization.

An overview of Rittal products will be given after the training sessions, followed by tours of the Rittal showroom and a dinner buffet.
