Rittal Corporation Announces Appointment of New President

SPRINGFIELD, OH, October 2007 - Rittal Corporation, headquartered in Springfield, Ohio, is announcing the appointment of Arnold Buescher as its new president. Buescher comes to Rittal Corporation from its Germany-based parent company, Rittal GmbH & Co. KG, the world's leading enclosure manufacturer. While at Rittal GmbH, Buescher served as sales director, improving market share and profitability in one of the most competitive sectors in Europe.
Prior to his service at Rittal, Buescher was employed for a number of years with PTR Messtechnik GmbH in Germany where he held positions of increasing responsibility. Buescher began his tenure with that company as assistant vice president and sales director, later advancing to the post of managing director. His background also includes employment as a product manager at Phoenix Contact in Germany.
Buescher attended the University of Paderborn in Germany. He holds a diploma in mechanical engineering.
