Richard L Sensenig Co. Installs Energy Efficient Lighting Domes
Richard L Sensenig Comapany, in Ephrata, Pa, has installed Sunwave Daylighting Systems into their plant to save up to 75% in their lighting costs. Sunwave(TM) Daylighting Systems are plastic domes which have two layers that are double glazed prismatic layers- One is clear and one is white layer to produce a soft but bright natural light that is diffused throughout the building. The shape produces maximum lighting performance, even with low sun angles. This technology produces the highest visibility with no glare or hot spots as seen with traditional skylights. As the natural daylight increases, the electric lights are dimed to save the maximum amount of energy per day.
