Renesas Technology Announces Changes in Management Team
TOKYO, February 20, 2007 -- Renesas Technology Corp. has announced the following changes in its management team, to take effect on April 1, 2007. Renesas Technology is approaching the fourth anniversary of its establishment, and its corporate foundations have been completely implemented. As part of Renesasf ongoing efforts to further strengthen the companyfs system, Renesas is introducing changes in the management team as well as in other areas such as the creation of a new MCU Business Group.
Executive vice president, board director Chikara Onishi, senior vice president, board director Hideo Inayoshi, board director Yutaka Funada, and corporate auditor Koji Tsuchihashi will retire from their positions on March 31. On April 1 Shiro Baba, Hideharu Takebe, and Yasushi Akao will each assume the positions of board director, and executive vice president, board director Chikara Onishi will assume the post of corporate auditor.
