The Spartan Scientific Series APV-10 is a 2 way, 2 position, air piloted valve that can be controlled by either a 3 way, 4 way solenoid valve or a hand pilot valve. Its media separated reciprocating piston operator controls air, fluids, fluid emulsions, water or any other media that is compatible with the valve body materials. With standard sealing materials including Buna, Viton, or PTFE, the versatile APV-10 is suitable for almost any application involving media control of solvents, water, water with suspended particles, and coolants.
The APV-10 is offered in normally open or normally closed versions as well as a double acting version. The bronze body is available in ½" to 2" NPT port sizes; and depending on version, the APV-10 can handle operating pressures ranging from 0 to 235 psi and pilot pressures of 30 to 80 psi. These valves operate in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +80°C and have a flow range of 4.7 to 60.5 Cv. All Spartan Scientific products are manufactured to ISO 9001:2000 with design specifications to the highest quality standards.
