Reis Joins Technology and Linked Systems

At the end of November, the well-known Laser Day was renamed: "Reis Joins." More than 150 individuals participated in learning of different automated joining technologies and the system competence of Reis Robotics.

In his opening speech, General Manager, Paul Merz, emphasized that many customers appreciate the general contractorship; they can rely on Reis Robotics to ensure the perfect coordination of the most difficult components and system areas, and guarantee performance.

The range of information was completed by a report about joining technologies, such as fixing, gluing, and sealing, supplied by Reis Extrusion.

"The variety and complexity of the automation systems put into practice by Reis Robotics is impressive, and I've never seen anything as distinct as this. This does not only apply for the laser system division, but, in particular, programming via the reisPad," said Matthias Richter from Daimler Benz.

"What convinces us, besides the quality of the solutions and the know-how of Reis Robotics, is the fact that we are a medium-sized company, and we are taken seriously and we are consulted," said Holger Dänekas, Design and Technical Manager at Schmid Donzdorf.

Gerd Lorenz, from Bosal Oris, commented, "Even if we are presently welding with the MAG procedure due to product specifications, it was very interesting for me and my Bosal colleagues, who mainly work with sheet metal, to learn more about the use of lasers."

On his first visit to Reis Robotics, Andreas Holzwarth of Otto Chemie said, "I found it interesting to illuminate the topics from the point of view of customers and machine manufacturers. The effects resulting from the combination of the welding and gluing technologies are very remarkable for us."

Additional inter-divisional information days at Reis Robotics are being planned.

About Reis Robotics

Reis Robotics is an innovative company leading in robot technology and system integration.

The Reis Robotics group, with international activities, is headquartered in Obernburg, Germany and is a market leader for automation systems in the photovoltaic industry. For more than two decades, Reis has been one of the most important integrators for automation systems in all major industry sectors. In addition to articulated arm robots, the product range also includes linear robots, gantries, horizontal articulated arm robots, and other special robots. Additional products include Try-out and Spotting Presses as well as Trim Presses and Trim Tools.

REIS ROBOTICS designs, delivers, and installs completely integrated automation systems from one source. Since 1957, our success is based on the great experience gained during the planning and execution of turnkey automation systems. For this, Reis Robotics offers a broad product range of industrial robots (welding robots, casting robots, handling robots, laser robots, and many others), peripheral modules and services for automation solutions in all major application fields.
