Redesigned Airtec Website Features Interactive Pump Selection for Minisplit A/C Units

Airtec Products Corp., Fall River, Mass., a leading manufacturer and importer of HVAC/R products, has launched its redesigned www.airtecproducts.com website featuring the HVAC industry's only interactive minisplit condensate pump selection guide for engineers and installers.
The website's Fast Find Pump Selector determines what Aspen Pumps model is correct for eight top brands of minisplits--Daikin, Quietside, LG, Sanyo, Fujitsu, Mitsubishi Electric, Samsung and Friedrich. Once a minisplit brand is selected, the site automatically displays all the current model numbers for that brand. The user then selects the model number required, and the selector then prompts him/her for the lineset orientation (side or rear evaporator entry), the type of pump (surface-mounted or concealed) and the feet of head required. The selector then offers a choice of pumps that fit those parameters as well as detailed installation descriptions and the relevant wiring diagrams.
"Since many contractors aren't aware of the many pump model and installation choices available--concealed in the evaporator, surface mounted, concealed in a lineset duct run or elbow, etc.--this selection guide is invaluable for completing a high performance, aesthetic minisplit installation," said Gerry Spanger, vice president of sales, Airtec Products.
