Red Wing, MN - July 24, 2007 - Red Wing Software, Inc. announces the release of Red Wing Payroll Software version 12.0. The new version ensures compatibility with Microsoft® Windows Vista(TM), expands tax form processing, and enhances direct deposit functionality.
Red Wing Payroll Software now offers complete compatibility with Microsoft® Windows Vista(TM) operating system, providing customers the ability to remain up-to-date with current technology.
"With Red Wing Payroll version 12.0, users can now confidently move to the newest Microsoft operating system without worrying about compatibility issues," says Jon Isackson, Red Wing Software Product Manager, "In response to customer suggestions, additional flexibility has been added to the quarterly payroll reporting processes and direct deposit, simplifying the payroll process even further."
Additional state and federal tax forms have been added to the system including W-4, W-5, 944/944-V, 945/945-V, I-9 and Federal Tax Deposit Coupon forms. These forms are now easily produced within the system. In the direct deposit function, output capabilities are now expanded, and an option has been added to store and output non-ABA numbers.
