Red Wing, MN - July 1, 2007 - Red Wing Software, Inc., developer of accounting and payroll software for small to medium-sized businesses and agribusinesses, announces the hiring of Joe O'Leary as Director of Sales.
Previously, O'Leary served as Director of New Product Development for RAM Center, Inc., a Minnesota-based robotic automation company that services several Fortune 500 companies. O'Leary was instrumental in assisting with the development and international sales of an automation system that became required by a nationally recognized franchise as standard operating equipment resulting in the sale of more than 20,000 systems worldwide.
O'Leary then went on to serve as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for a proprietary technology company that developed wearable computer systems used in several key vertical markets including mission-critical applications by the Department of Defense. In 2002, he started and grew his own marketing and consulting firm, providing sales leadership training and helping smaller companies identify market opportunities. Shortly thereafter, O'Leary accepted a General Manager position with one of his clients, a nationally franchised company.
