The LKH-PF centrifugal pump from Alfa Laval is designed for the most demanding nano, micro and ultra filtration applications - with documented reverse osmosis energy savings.
Part of the LKH series, the LKH-PF features a heavy-duty design with a one-inch thick pump casing and back-plate with more bolts to handle the highest filtration pressures and flow rates. The LKH-PF pumps up to 1,200 GPM with inlet pressures up to 600 PSI and boost pressures of 230 PSI. This translates into higher pressures which reduces the number of pumps required and minimizes installation costs.
After comparing the performance of the LKH-PF 60 to another pump in a reverse osmosis (RO) filtration process, the PF-60 consumed nearly 15% less power - proving a savings of $1,800 per year, per pump savings. For a typical RO system, this equates to a $30,000 per year power savings.
The LKH-PF has the same front loading, standardized shaft seal as the entire LKH Series which maintains product integrity and allows for easy seal replacement without removing the back-plate. It also utilizes the same seal as the LKH multistage pump to help reduce cost of ownership further.
Available in 11 sizes, the pump is fully 3A and EHEDG compliant.
