OWATONNA, MN (October 19, 2008) - Rayven Inc., a leading provider of laminating, coating and converting services and expertise, today announces it is breaking ground on a new manufacturing facility in Owatonna, MN, expanding the company's manufacturing capacity, and in effect doubling its manufacturing space. Rayven's current facility has 31,000 square feet of manufacturing space and 6,000 ft" of office. In order to accommodate increased demand for release liner and graphic arts products, Rayven is building a 30,000 ft" manufacturing building.
"Rayven's expansion is a direct result of our continued growth and to meet the demand of our customers," comments Joe Heinemann, President of Rayven, Inc. "The new facility will allow Rayven to meet increased demand and increase the company's manufacturing capacity to manufacture specialty release liners.
The new building will house 2 coating lines. One line will be moved from Rayven's Saint Paul location and a new 72" wide coating line will be added.. Plans are to have both lines running by July 1, 2009.
"We are excited about the cooperation that we have received from the city of Owatonna," continues Heinemann. "It is obvious that this city is very "manufacturing friendly". They offered Rayven a very generous TIF and equipment financing package."
Rayven will hope break ground on the six-acre site in the Owatonna Industrial Park sometime in late October 2008. Completion of the building is planned for February of 2009.
