Master Bond EP21BAS is an innovative radio-opaque epoxy adhesive approved for use in the manufacture of medical instruments and devices. As a medical device adhesive, it features excellent resistance to chemicals including water, oils, fuels, acids, bases and salts and holds up well to thermal cycling. Once cured, the epoxy has excellent electrical insulation properties. The volume resistivity exceeds 1014 ohm cm. The radio-opaque epoxy adhesive adheres well to metals, glass, ceramics, rubber and many plastics. EP21BAS offers a wide service temperature range of -58°F to 248°F( -50°C to +120°C).
