Enhanced Features Deliver More Efficient, Cost-Effective Enterprise-wide Learning
BALTIMORE, April 16 /-- RWD Technologies, Inc. (RWD), a company that develops and implements organizational performance solutions, announced today the availability of enhanced RWD uPerform(TM) features that will empower users to create and deliver eLearning courses quickly and easily. RWD uPerform now gives companies a more cost-effective and efficient approach to developing eLearning materials while offering the end user contextual, on- the-job performance support and collaboration benefits. The new rapid eLearning feature also further enables organizational consistency and company- wide compliance.
"The process for developing eLearning courses typically involves an extensive exchange between a trained instructional designer who creates the course and a company subject matter expert that provides the information for the course," said Frank Lonergan, vice president of Products and Business Development, RWD Technologies. "The approach can create a long development cycle and leave room for human error. Using RWD uPerform, authors and subject matter experts can create the courses themselves, using pre-defined templates to ensure consistency, and quickly get those courses to their end users. RWD will be demonstrating the new features of RWD uPerform at two major tradeshows this month: during Collaborate 2007, held April 15th - 19th in Las Vegas, Nevada at Booth number 1044 and at ASUG/SAPPHIRE 2007, held April 22nd - 25th in Atlanta, Georgia at Booth number 615.
As organizations implement enterprise-wide solutions such as Enterprise Resource Planning, Customer Relationship Management, and sales force training programs, businesses are increasingly seeking ways to improve application functionality and return on investment. RWD uPerform addresses these challenges by enabling the creation, storage, and management of application simulations and procedural documentation. Now, the new rapid eLearning feature will also empower authors to both create new courses in the RWD uPerform environment as well as import and repurpose existing content such as presentations.

-- Addition of new languages, including Chinese, Japanese, and Korean language support
All published courses are SCORM conformant, making them compatible with most Learning Management Systems and Learning Content Management Systems. RWD uPerform works with most standard enterprise applications and Microsoft(R) Windows web-based applications.
