TORONTO, May 31, 2007 ... RMT Robotics, a world-leading robotics manufacturer and integrator for the tire and warehousing industries, today announced that Don Heelis, P.Eng, will join their management team as Regional Sales Manager - Tire Systems.
As an integral part of the RMT Team, Heelis will be responsible for all tire systems sales in the North and South American markets. He will act as an anchor for the flourishing North American market as the Company grows in emerging markets as part of an overall globalization strategy.
Prior to joining RMT Robotics, Heelis held project, engineering and account management positions with top B2B organizations. Over the course of his career he has been instrumental in the closing of many major contracts.
Heelis has in-depth experience in flexible automation, articulated and custom robotic solutions as well as material handling systems. He is a mechanical engineer, member of the Association of Professional Engineers of Ontario and the American Society of Mechanical Engineers.
RMT Robotics also announced the retention of Brainstorm Communications as public relations and marketing agency of record. Brainstorm, a full-service boutique marketing communications firm is responsible for media relations, marketing, web and brand presence for North and South America as well as emerging international regions. Value of the contract was not announced.
