RIA Announces Workshops to precede 2013 Leadership Summit/Expo.

RIA will provide 3 courses on April 23, 2013 preceding 68th Annual Leadership Summit and Industry Expo in Las Vegas, NV (April 23–25, 2013). These workshops are to include Estimating for Contents Restoration, led by Lori Young; RIA’s Mold Refresher Course, led by Michael Pinto; and hands-on review of Xactimate 27.5 features, led by Brad Williams. These workshops are optional and require additional fee.

2013 RIA Pre-Convention Workshops



Rockville, MD – On Tuesday, April 23, 2013, RIA will provide three courses prior to the 68th Annual Leadership Summit and Industry Expo at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nev. on April 23-25, 2013. The convention will include presentations from many key leaders in the industry. These pre-convention workshops are optional and there is an additional course fee for these courses.



Lori Young, CR, Bartwood Construction, Inc. will offer a course entitled: Estimating for Contents Restoration. The workshop will be held from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. and will focus on four learning objectives that will help attendees better understand how to properly estimate for contents.



Michael Pinto, CSP, CMP, of Wonder Makers Environmental, Inc. will teach RIA’s Mold Refresher Course from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. This workshop is designed for those who wish to maintain and update their knowledge in the mold and environmental fields. It is geared for those who require continuing education credits and is not an entry-level course.



Brad Williams, from Xactimate will provide a hands-on workshop from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Xactimate 27.5’s features to provide attendees with a better understanding of its capabilities through a demonstrations and a discussion of Xactimate concepts.
