The HVAC REME®+ Cell enhances RGF's duct mounted Air Purification line to address Odor, Mold, Bacteria, Virus, Dust and Dander within the home or office.
West Palm Beach, Florida November 01, 2007 - RGF Environmental Group. Inc. a Florida based manufacturer has introduced the HVAC REME®+ Cell to its commercial and residential line of duct mounted Air Purifiers. An advancement from its Guardian Air® product range, the HVAC REME®+ Cell now addresses air-borne particulate (dust & dander) along with mold, odor, bacteria and viruses. Recent rounds of testing at Kansas State University have proven REME® technology to be over 99% effective on a wide scope of bacteria and viruses including MRSA and Norwalk.
RGF has a 25-year history of innovative water, air and food purification technologies utilizing oxygen and hydrogen based oxidizers. The company previously invented PHI-Cell® technology (Photohydroionization), a broad spectrum Advanced Oxidation Cell proven and tested to be extremely effective in destroying mold, odors, bacteria and viruses while also being completely safe for occupants. In air treatment, PHI-Cell® is effective on airborne gases, odors, molds, viruses and bacteria, but falls short in removing airborne particulate.
According to Ron Fink, President and CEO, "The latest RGF development (REME®) is superior to the PHI-Cell® and has the added benefit of airborne particulate removal. One of the main advantages of REME® is the use of a sacrificial charged collection target that collects airborne particulates for safe, easy disposal. The charged collection target replaces the existing air filter, increasing particulate removal to near HEPA standards.
