Press release date: February 22, 2006

February 22, 2006 Alameda, CA - RGB Spectrum will showcase the latest technologies in multi image display, video/data walls, and digital recording and transmission at the NSCA Systems Integration Expo on March 16-18, 2006 in Las Vegas in booth #3519.

The NSCA Systems Integration Expo brings together designers and installers of commercial electronic systems with the latest technology in A/V, access control, acoustics, control systems, data, digital signage, security/life safety, lighting, telephony, sound and video.

RGB Spectrum is featuring its industry-leading View(TM) line of multiple image display processors The View processors are ideal for network operations centers, control rooms, video teleconferencing, command centers, training facilities, and any other application requiring the display of multiple images on a single screen. View processors display up to 12 computer and video inputs on a single screen, from up to 36 switched sources, including high resolution RGB, DVI, HDTV 1080i/720p, radar, sonar, X-Ray, S-Video, component, and composite NTSC/PAL video. All display windows can be independently positioned, scaled from icon size to full screen, overlaid with computer graphics, overlapped with other display windows, and panned and zoomed to emphasize areas of particular interest.

Various View models offer additional, innovative features including web-based control, dynamic window sizing and positioning, custom borders, window titling, fade effects, freeze, display arrangement presets, and user selectable colored and shaded backgrounds.

RGB Spectrum's new generation of multi-window processors display multiple images, from virtually any input source, on one screen.

RGB Spectrum will also showcase the MediaWall(TM) 2000 video/data wall controller. The MediaWall 2000 is based upon a custom architecture rather than a PC, with faster updates, true real-time performance, more display flexibility, and superior security. The MediaWall 2000 is a robust, and easy-to-use product designed for 24/7 mission critical operation.

The MediaWall 2000 displays up to twelve video and computer signals simultaneously, any size, anywhere, within or straddling screens, in correct aspect ratio or stretched to fit, in whole or zoomed to emphasize details. The system supports all inputs up to 1920 x 1200 pixels and HDTV, with full resolution and real time performance and without dropped frames. A single processor supports up to four screens. Multiple processors support larger arrays.

Unlike other video walls, the MediaWall has no limits on display alternatives; the multi-screen array forms a truly virtual screen in which any display of windows is possible. In contrast to PC-based walls, MediaWall is not vulnerable to security breaches or downtime due to network glitches or PC operating system failures.

RGB Spectrum's new MediaWall(TM) 2000 offers full real time performance, robust 24/7 operation, unsurpassed display flexibility, and superior security.

MediaWall 2000 leading edge features include mullion compensation and image overlap for seamless edge blending. The mullion adjustment capability allows you to shift and expand images across screens to compensate for the mullion widths. The result is proper, optimized alignment from screen-to-screen to provide a contiguous image. When an image is displayed across multiple projectors on a single screen, the human eye detects a vertical line where the two portions of the image are joined. In conjunction with projectors' light intensity adjustments, MediaWall's image overlap feature eliminates edge artifacts resulting in a seamless image across the screen.

RGB Spectrum will also feature the DGy(TM) digital recording system, an innovative recorder for storing and transmitting high resolution images for control rooms, operations centers, presentations, and security. It captures, compresses, stores, and plays back imagery at up to 1600 x 1200 pixel resolution. All models support computer, radar, sonar, X-Ray, other high resolution signals, and stereo audio.

The DGy preserves original image quality, delivering the highest fidelity reproduction of fine details and intricate symbology using the latest JPEG 2000 compression standard. Recording frame rates are selectable up to 30 fps at 1280 x 1024 pixel resolution, 20 fps at 1600 x 1200 resolution.

The DGy's leading edge features include event marking, instant random access, external time code synchronization, and versatile storage and file transmission capabilities to and from a remote computer or network attached storage.
