Toronto, Canada - GAO Instruments (www.GAOInstruments.com) recommends its synthesized signal radio frequency (RF) generator which can be used in applications such as scientific research, production and general RF testing. On UHF receivers, it can measure selectivity, sensitivity, inter-nodulation distortion, AM rejection, AGC response, audio hum, noise and distortion and STAND ratio. Its flexible step sweep and list sweep functions provide control over output frequency and power.
This synthesized RF signal generator, model A0200001, offers abundant modulation functions including amplitude modulation, frequency modulation, phase modulation and pulse modulation. It works over a wide frequency range of 250kHz to 2GHz at an accuracy of ±0.5dB and from 2GHz to 4GHz at an accuracy of ±0.9dB. The built-in modulation signal generator features a GPIB remote control function, 10MHz frequency resolution, and a wide output power range from -136dBm to 7dBm. When its source power output is less than 4dBm, its spectral purity is less than -30dBc, and when its source power output is less than 7dBm and frequency deviation is more than 3kHz, its spectral purity is less than -53dBc.
