Demonstrations of Fixed and Wireless Solutions for Gas Detection
San Jose, Calif. - September 29, 2009 - RAE Systems Inc. (NYSE AMEX: RAE), a leader in delivering innovative sensor solutions to serve industrial, energy, environmental, and government safety markets worldwide, will exhibit and demonstrate the company's leading personal, portable, wireless and fixed gas detection and industrial hygiene monitoring solutions at booth #1853 at the Automation, and Control, Technology and Technique ISA Expo being held at the Reliant Center in Houston, Texas, on October 6-8, 2009.
"Our MeshGuard wireless and RAEGuard fixed toxic and flammable gas monitors have become a mainstay in industrial safety," said Thomas Negre, director of instrumentation products for RAE Systems. "Our new AreaRAE Inert provides a new level of wireless monitoring for the demanding work of confined space entry in a low-oxygen environment."
In addition to demonstrating the latest in PID (photoionization detection) and wireless technology, RAE Systems will feature fixed single-gas and portable multi-gas products, as well as calibration stations for a wide range of industrial applications.
Fixed Volatile Organic Compound (VOC), Toxic and Flammable Gas Monitors
RAEGuard(TM) S, Permanently installed gas detectors for hydrocarbon combustible gases, carbon dioxide and a wide range of toxic gases.
o RAEGuard(TM) PID, fixed VOC monitors using a PID transmitter that operates from a 9 to 36 VDC power source.
o RAEGuard EC, fixed toxic gas or oxygen sensor/transmitter that operates from a 9 to 36 VDC power source.

MeshGuard(TM), the rugged, battery-powered toxic gas detector integrated with a wireless mesh radio modem.
AreaRAE(TM) Steel, the 5-sensor, wireless toxic gas and radiation detection system with three new sensor options: Hydrogen Chloride (HCl), Hydrogen Fluoride (HF) and high-range Carbon Monoxide (CO).
